Our Search Process

Amero Search Group conducts each search assignment with a consistent and time-tested process. The search process is divided into the following five steps:

 
 
 

Step 1

Define objectives and Specifications: Our goal is to fully understand the hiring needs of your company.  We want to understand the in-depth specifications of the search assignment, an overview of company history, and the company culture including personalities, mission, and goals.

 
 

 
 

Step 2

Develop Recruiting Strategy: Upon agreement on all search criteria, we then develop a customized recruiting strategy for each new position. We develop the Position Profile, the client interviewing process, and customized interview tools. We craft a strategy to source and identify the top talent required to fill the position, including the first step of reviewing our extensive candidate database.

 
 

 
 

Step 3

Contact Prospective Candidates: Utilizing our jointly developed Position Profile and target list, we will contact candidates, present the opportunity, determine level of interest and initial fit, and then schedule interviews.

 
 

 
 

Step 4

Present Most Qualified Candidates: We conduct all screening interviews and then present only those candidates that have the required skills, abilities, and experience to do the job, are motivated to make a career change, and that would be a great fit for your culture. We facilitate and coordinate all client interviews with top candidates and conduct reference and background checks upon request.

 
 

 
 

Step 5

Negotiations and the Offer Process: We partner with clients when appropriate to act as intermediary and advisor regarding salary, benefits, relocation and other elements of the final offer. Once an offer is accepted we assist the candidate with his/her resignation, work through any counter-offers, and confirm the start date. We are committed to creating a smooth transition for everyone throughout the process.
